 It gives me great pleasure to commend to you the Clan Donald Magazine, which has the active support of the Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen Clan Donald Societies.
Clan Donald, with its great history and traditions, its heroes of old and its songs and poetry, and, in more recent times, its sons and daughters, who played - and still play - leading parts within the British Commonwealth, the United States and other countries, provides a common bond between many thousands of people in all parts of the world.
This new magazine by recalling some of the history of Clan Donald and recording events of the present time will, I hope, help to strengthen that bond between clansmen and clanswomen at home and overseas.
I wish the Clan Donald Magazine every success.
